Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Experience Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining best practices in code and art development, creating UI animations and effects using our proprietary game engine, and applying proper art optimization techniques in art assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining best practices in code and art development
  • Creating UI animations and effects using our proprietary game engine
  • Applying proper art optimization techniques in art assets
  • Quickly identifying and debugging art and animation related issues
  • Motion demo design and creation for game front end and in-game HUD
  • Collaborating with engineering and art teams to explain both art team needs and technical constraints
  • Documenting tools and workflows on our internal Wiki
  • High-fidelity rapid prototyping for UX evaluation
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new proprietary production tools and workflows
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Visual Scripting
  • Proficiency with Adobe Animate, Photoshop, and other graphics and animation applications
  • 1+ years of experience creating 3D motion graphics or interfaces with game engines such as Unreal or Unity
  • Visual animation and programming skills
