Overview of Freight Broker Role

At Challenger Motor Freight, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Agent to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to expand your customer base, provide tailored solutions using our network of carriers and providers, and enjoy a flexible and independent work environment.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new customers and develop strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Source carriers and providers for your customers' shipments and book them in our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, track deliveries, and ensure carriers provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of logistics industry-related sales and operations experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
