Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Go Orthodontistes. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with various tasks, including sterilization, instrument setup, and patient record-keeping.
  • Provide excellent patient care, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Record treatment information, medical histories, and patient vital signs accurately.
  • Exposure of dental x-rays and maintenance of x-ray equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing information on oral health, hygiene, and care.
  • Collect and record medical and dental histories, patient vital signs, and provide postoperative instructions.
  • Maintain dental equipment, order supplies, and manage inventory.
  • Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions.
Requirements:
  • Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using computers for various tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
