Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's industrial team in Cornwall, Ontario. Our team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval.
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and update information as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts.
- Establish accuracy in entries and balance daily/monthly.
Requirements:
- College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting desired, but not required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Accounts Payable experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
