Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospital of Northern BC. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia mission statement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Recognize and intervene appropriately in emergency situations

Requirements

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Postgraduate courses (within the last five years) appropriate to service assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience
