We are seeking a Sales Strategist to join our Retail Media network team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role will play a key part in supporting our sales team by developing and maintaining sales collateral, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working closely with the Director of Sales, National Sourcing, and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and materials with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, discovery decks, inventory guide, advertiser guidelines) to support the sales team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, ad product, and data science.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales, National Sourcing, and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and materials with overall business objectives.
  • Tailor client proposals to address specific client needs and opportunities, ensuring they are compelling and relevant to the specific account based on sales insights, historical performance, and industry trends.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of work experience in a sales strategy-related role at an agency, adtech company, media network, or media publisher.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, including different campaign objectives (e.g., conversion, awareness), advertising formats (video, search, banner), and placements (e.g., on site, on email, in-store).
  • Experience developing sales collateral at an agency, adtech, media network, or media publisher.
