About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Tomas the Cook / Specklebellys pub. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Describe menu items including daily specials to customers, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each dish.
  • Advise on menu selections based on customer preferences and dietary requirements, providing personalized recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Greet patrons and make them feel welcome, presenting menus and making recommendations to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered to the correct table.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout your shift.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
