About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex construction projects from pre-construction through completion. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Oversight of all project activities, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Coordination with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Review and approval of project plans, budgets, and timelines, making adjustments as needed.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and local codes.
  • Preparation and presentation of regular project updates to senior leadership and clients.
  • Mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and project teams.
  • Negotiation of contracts and management of vendor relationships.
  • Oversight of change orders and proper documentation for any modifications to the original scope of work.
  • Proper risk management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proven experience in commercial and/or institutional projects.
  • Construction related education, such as CET or engineering related degree.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, cost control, and project scheduling.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and construction industry regulations.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
