We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Residence Aventure Inc. in a long term care setting. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
About the Role- This is a permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
- The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in patient care.
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Tasks: Supply and empty bed pans, serve meal trays and feed patients, weigh, lift, turn and position patients, make beds and maintain patients' rooms, supervise patients' exercise routines, maintain inventory of supplies.
- Transportation: Safely transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher as needed.
- Communication: Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- English language proficiency is necessary for this role.
This position is based in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits may include opportunities for professional growth and development.
