About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the daily activities of your team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training to new employees, teaching them the skills and knowledge required to excel in their positions.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that all food and services meet our high-quality standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining accurate records to optimize inventory levels.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as establish work schedules for your team.

What We Offer

Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
