Greco Architectural Metal Products is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating production, workflow, and manufacturing productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and allocate daily assignments for fabrication employees.
- Oversee fabrication organization and workflow.
- Plan and schedule training, providing onboarding and training for new employees and maintaining an overall training matrix to identify any gaps.
- Coach and mentor team leaders and fabrication employees to grow in their capabilities.
- Develop and train all Fabrication employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Conduct shift line up meetings, provide guidance, and gain feedback to other shifts.
- Perform town hall meetings once per week to address Safety, Quality, or Employee-related concerns.
- Conduct Safety and 5s audits monthly.
- Hands-on participation in creating Tracking Sheets, Cut Lists, and Weld Packages.
- Support the Fabrication Manager in reviewing fabrication drawings.
- Delegation of "Quality Checks" to Fabrication Team Lead, including checking in-process and processed parts.
- Checking that operations are following employment laws.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a foreman or supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in metal fabrication environment.
- Completion of college/vocational or technical training.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to push, pull, and move equipment and/or supplies up to 50 pounds.
Greco Architectural Metal Products offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $78,000 CAD, as well as a dynamic and inclusive work environment where every employee belongs and is encouraged to contribute and develop.
