The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United, and Framatome, located in Kincardine, Ontario. This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, allowing CANDU units to operate safely through 2064.
Job Description:This role supports conventional safety and environmental management plans, procedures, and training. You will track and report safety-related statistics, manage Return to Work cases at the field level, and assist in developing JSA, High Hazard, and Critical Lifting forms. Other duties include supporting Human Performance program activities.
Physical Demands:This position requires repetitive movement, working in various locations, including the field and office. You must be able to work on a project site, adapt to shift schedules ranging from 8-12 hours, and perform in demanding environments. Travel to site locations may involve walking long distances, climbing ladders or stairs, standing, and stopping for long periods.
Requirements:To succeed in this role, you need a designation such as CHSO or CRSP, relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Health and Safety, and a minimum of 5 years of senior experience in Health and Safety within the nuclear construction industry.
