We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in our long-term and acute care facilities in the Rainy River area.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage medications, narcotics, and protocols on assigned shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive interpersonal skills.
  • Respect for residents' autonomy, dignity, and right to self-respect and privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.
  • Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
