Job Description

Job Title: Executive Director - Logistics and Transportation Cluster

Job Type: Full-time

Industry: Recruitment and Staffing

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site meetings)

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an executive director role, preferably in a similar industry

Education: University degree in a relevant field

Language: Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Logistics and Transportation Cluster, in collaboration with the Board of Directors
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Cluster's permanent staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization

Partnerships and Networking:

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with key players in economic development, government agencies, and private enterprises
  • Represent the Cluster in dealings with government authorities and other stakeholders

Communication and Fundraising:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the Cluster's mission and activities
  • Secure funding for the Cluster through subsidies, membership fees, and sponsorships

Governance and Operations:

  • Ensure the Cluster's governance is in compliance with the approved rules and regulations
  • Manage the Cluster's finances, including budgets and financial statements
Requirements

Education:

  • University degree in a relevant field

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an executive director role, preferably in a similar industry

Skills:

  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent and negotiate with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Language:

  • Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written
