Executive Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our client, a major student cooperative with over 17,500 members, in its socio-economic engagement and promotion of cooperative principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee and control the cooperative's affairs, manage its assets and property, and ensure the proper management of funds and accounting records.
- Risk Management: Ensure adherence to policies and budgets, protect against risks (fire, theft, etc.), and oversee all business activities.
- Human Capital Management: Supervise and evaluate staff in accordance with labor standards, and prepare annual budget forecasts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the cooperative to various stakeholders, maintain relationships with the school cooperative network, and participate in Board meetings and other committees.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare the annual report, suggest organizational improvements, and prepare documents required by the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
- 5 years of management experience, preferably in a cooperative or non-profit organization.
- Ability to lead a team and make ethical decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in project and multi-task management.
- Strong understanding of financial and human resources practices.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with management and accounting tools.
