Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Office Support

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our team at Agos Immigration Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as assisting with staff consultation and grievance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Conduct research
  • Provide customer service
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
