Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement individualized curriculum plans for students with varying physical and emotional conditions.
  • Monitor behavior patterns and apply appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Plans for students with mild-moderate developmental disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training or experience in trauma-sensitive environments.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Effective organizational skills and classroom management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.
  • Commitment to the Assessment for Learning model.
