Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at PHSA. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive health, mental health, and substance use services to clients in correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transition planning.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience working in a correctional health or related setting.
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
