Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services. As a Social Worker III, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive health, mental health, and substance use services to clients in correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex mental health and substance use needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and ensure seamless transitions for clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with community agencies and providers to ensure access to resources and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience working in a correctional health or related setting.
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
  • Valid BC driver's license.
