Job Title: Automotive Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician Assistant to join our team at AFS AUTOMOTIVE LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to our automotive technicians in a fast-paced workshop environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the automotive industry and develop their skills in a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist technicians with daily tasks and projects
  • Move tools, equipment, and materials as needed
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
