We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at Healing Recovery Centre. This hybrid role involves mostly virtual work with occasional in-person appointments. The ideal candidate will practice from an anti-diet, weight-inclusive lens and support clients of all ages in their recovery journey.
This is a temporary part-time position (12 months with potential for extension) that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by eating disorders.
About UsAt Healing Recovery Centre, we believe in providing comprehensive and compassionate care for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Our experienced team of clinicians is passionate about providing clients with the tools they need to actively choose food and body freedom and create a future they can flourish in.
We welcome all individuals regardless of belief system, gender identity, sexual expression, size, age, or race, and help families who haven't found healing with conventional treatment methods receive the comprehensive, compassionate care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one nutrition counseling to individuals and families using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
- Offer virtual and in-person availability through our clinic
- Complete documentation, scheduling and billing responsibilities in accordance with college and clinic requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members effectively
- Attend monthly team meeting and clinical supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and understanding towards clients' diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices
