Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:


  • We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional service to our customers.


Responsibilities:


  2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Package and label bakery products for sale, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of merchandise.
  4. Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens, and assisting in production as directed by bakers, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  5. Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed, ensuring an organized and well-presented store environment.
  6. Assist in setting up products for the following day, contributing to a seamless and efficient store operation.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.


Requirements:


  2. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.
  6. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, with the ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in the store environment.
  7. Prior experience in a retail or bakery setting an asset; training provided for the right candidate.
  8. Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.


Compensation:

The salary for this position is approximately $22-$25 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive wages, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
