Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic and Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Watercare Services Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering robust corporate finance modelling, leading long-term and annual planning cycles, and providing analysis to support sound commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Strategic and Commercial Finance team in delivering financial modelling and analysis to support corporate finance needs.
  • Develop and maintain financial long-term plans and annual planning cycles to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Define and track key performance metrics and drivers to inform business decisions.
  • Support commercial decision-making with robust business cases and analysis.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of enterprise operational cost efficiency methodologies and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver information required for Crown monitoring and economic regulation.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and product development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Economics or Finance.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior-level role related to corporate and commercial finance.
  • Proven experience in leading improvements in fiscal management of large complex businesses.
  • Proven people leadership skills with a strong affinity for developing team members to their best potential.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and briefing skills.
  • Highly adaptable communication skills with proven ability to work at all levels.
