Yard Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Yard Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our yard, including the care and maintenance of equipment, storage of merchandise, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily yard checks to ensure equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the Yard Supervisor.
- Conduct regular cleaning and organization of the yard and storage areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Unload supplier trucks and load customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests of our Co-op, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
- Work collaboratively with the Yard Supervisor and other team members to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to repetitively pull, lift and carry 50lbs throughout each 8-hour shift.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

The pay scale for this position is $17.45 to $23.87 per hour. Starting pay will be based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
