We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Yard Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our yard, including the care and maintenance of equipment, storage of merchandise, and providing excellent customer service.

• Perform yard maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and minor repairs to equipment
• Ensure the proper storage of yard and warehouse merchandise
• Unload supplier trucks and load customer vehicles
• Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas organized and clean
• Adhere to company policies, including the Health and Safety program

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Able to repetitively pull, lift, and carry 50lbs throughout each 8-hour shift
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
• Knowledge of livestock is considered an asset
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Committed to quality with an eye for detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
