Job Summary

The Corporate Support Specialist role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Corporate Group. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, accounts, and transactional documents
  • Entering and maintaining lawyer's dockets and coordinating with the Accounting Department
  • Responding to client inquiries and keeping lawyers apprised of interactions
  • Maintaining files, precedent systems, and knowledge management protocols
  • Processing mail, email, and other administrative tasks
  • Preparing and updating cheque requisitions and expense reports
  • Updating client/matter lists and contact records
  • General administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and meetings

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in a large firm
  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate law and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of accounting and docketing systems
