About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Planning Manager to join our team at KPMG. As a Senior Tax Professional, you will play a key role in leading client engagements and working closely with Partners on tax planning and reorganization work for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements and develop tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Work closely with Partners to deliver high-quality tax planning and reorganization services to clients.
  • Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns and conduct and present tax research.
  • Collaborate with Partners to attract new work to the firm and provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
  • Review complex tax returns for corporations, trusts, and partnerships, and draft tax memoranda for review by Partners and Managers.
  • Assist Partners and Managers on special mandates and provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience specializing in tax in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional accounting designation, such as CPA or CA.
  • MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent people management skills and ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
