About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Operational Excellence team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across our end-to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and engagement.
  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Develop and maintain detailed process maps, conduct root cause analyses, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Standardization and Implementation: Take ownership of core warehouse and production processes, driving standardization and continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a champion of site operations, working closely with stakeholders to communicate complex processes and drive change management initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage large internal datasets to drive decisions, identify and quantify opportunities, and prioritize improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Communication and Change Management: Develop and deliver communication and change management plans to relevant stakeholders to effectively launch and sustain operational changes.
  • Documentation and Visual Management: Create standard operating procedures, documentation, and other visual management tools to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Track and communicate project progress in the OpEx Roadmap.
  • Compliance and Safety: Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations, using personal protective and safety equipment as directed by the employer, and reporting workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience working in operations management or a related field.
  • Skills: Natural curiosity to understand how different systems/processes work, bias for action to improve them, proactive and ambitious mindset, charismatic attitude to getting buy-in on ideas, quantitative and analytical experience, including expertise with G-Suite, Excel, and data visualization systems.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Canada up to 25% of working time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Root Cause Analysis Tools: Familiarity with 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, 6W2H, etc.
  • Lean/Business Process Mapping: Experience with Lean/Business Process Mapping.
  • Data Visualization: Basic coding and/or data visualization skills (e.g. SQL, Tableau).
