The Role:

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team for an 18-month contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on distribution and warehousing operations. Your expertise will help us reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the DC Continuous Improvement Program to support Operational Excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Manager and teams to plan, execute, and monitor CI projects.
  • Provide technical CI expertise to support process improvement activities and align initiatives with site key performance indicators.
  • Lead value stream mapping activities and drive efficiency improvements within DC operations.
  • Align with finance to track and report financial impacts of improvements and cost savings opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or Engineering Management.
  • 5+ years of continuous improvement experience in warehousing or distribution centers.
  • Six Sigma Certification is an asset.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, with experience in leadership and project management.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard problem-solving methodologies (LSS, DMAIC) and experience with tools like Minitab, Sigma XL, and NWA.
