Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our hotel operates in accordance with our high standards.
- Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and manage our front desk staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service to our guests.
- Perform Front Desk Duties: Perform front desk duties, including checking in and out guests, handling guest complaints, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that our hotel is operating within our financial targets.
- Prepare Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new guests and increase revenue.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for our front desk staff to ensure that we have adequate coverage at all times.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a hotel operations role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.

- Hours of Work: 32 to 35 hours per week.
