Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and maintain effective policies and procedures to ensure seamless hotel operations, including front desk duties, staff supervision, and budget management.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Attract, select, and hire top talent to join our team, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and develop our front desk team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure exceptional guest service.
  • Perform Front Desk Duties: Provide exceptional guest service, handle customer complaints, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, track revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Prepare Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive bookings, and enhance guest loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
