The role of the Industrial Mechanic Millwright is to support the smooth operation of all equipment and machinery in the Distribution Centre. This includes carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are in good working condition and operate safely and efficiently
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
- Repair and replace mechanical and electrical components as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in equipment and machinery
- Work with the maintenance team to coordinate daily workflows and provide guidance and support
- Participate in analytical problem-solving and make decisions related to each problem encountered
Requirements
- Government Certificate of Qualification as Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A
- 3-5 years of experience in an automated distribution environment
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player skills and support the maintenance team
