We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including gasoline-powered machinery. The successful candidate will have experience in estimating repair costs, adjusting and repairing parts using hand tools and equipment, and testing and adjusting repaired equipment for optimal performance.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills. As an Equipment Mechanic at Sunset Ranch Golf Course, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment fleet, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on gasoline-powered equipment
  • Estimate repair costs and prioritize repairs based on urgency and importance
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or degree in a related field an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Benefits:
