Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at KYND International. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to children and adolescents in a 32-bed facility.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, develops and implements individualized care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and conducting assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, mental health status, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including progress notes, medication lists, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the United States.
  • Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN).
  • Ability to obtain ACLS and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $39-44 USD/hour (54 - 61 CAD/hour).
  • Up to 2k in reimbursement for relocation expenses.
  • Opportunity for EB-3 green card sponsorship upon renewal of a 2-year contract.
  • Credential evaluation, visa screen, work visa, nurse license, and airfare to the United States covered by KYND International, along with employer support from job interview to first day on the job.
  • Direct employment with the hospital.
