About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crown Attorney to join our team in the Public Prosecution Service of Nova Scotia. As a Crown Attorney, you will play a critical role in upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is served in our province.

Key Responsibilities

As a Crown Attorney, you will be responsible for conducting prosecutions in a fair and impartial manner, providing legal advice and assistance to law enforcement agencies, and representing the Crown in court. You will also be required to travel throughout the province to prosecute cases and may be required to do so for extended periods of time.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must be a practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and have a thorough understanding of the prosecution process, as well as competence in the areas of criminal procedures, evidence, and substantive criminal law. You must also have at least one year of related experience.
