About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crown Attorney to join our team in the Public Prosecution Service of Nova Scotia. As a Crown Attorney, you will play a critical role in upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is served in our province.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting prosecutions in a fair and impartial manner, providing legal advice and assistance to law enforcement agencies, and representing the Crown in criminal and quasi-criminal matters at all levels of court.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and have a thorough understanding of the prosecution process, as well as competence in criminal procedures, evidence, and substantive criminal law. A minimum of one year of related experience is required.
