Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina. As an integral member of the Medical Services team, you will provide comprehensive direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver best practice and evidence-based care.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert clinical care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary oncology team within the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, formulate diagnoses, interpret diagnostic tests, and implement clinical care with a high level of autonomy.
  • Work independently and in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough health assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care and support patients throughout their cancer journey.
  • Patient Navigation: Facilitate access to cancer services, coordinate care, and provide education to patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience in oncology, palliative care, or acute care.
  • Preferred certification in Canadian Oncology Nursing.
