About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on breakfast and lunch service.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
