Job Summary

The York Region District School Board is seeking a qualified Occasional Teacher to fill a 0.67 FTE Long-Term Occasional Teacher position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction and support to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a passion for teaching. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of qualifications and experience. They will also be required to undergo a police records check and a vulnerable sector screening.
