Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Sofina Foods Inc. in Etobicoke, ON. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of food processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and good manufacturing practices

Requirements

  • Millwright license (433A) required
  • 5 years of experience in food processing equipment maintenance and repair
  • Good knowledge of electronics and PLC technologies
  • Computer literacy and understanding of programmable controls
  • Additional skilled trade licenses an asset
