About the Role:
As a Sous Chef with Dexterra Group, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the most remote locales in the world. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, including ordering food ingredients and planning menus. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation, serving, and control of cooked and uncooked food, training staff, and ensuring that staff follows prescribed Horizon North Food Safety protocol.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry and 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and/or remote lodges. They will also have knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, GFS, and Outlook, as well as extensive knowledge of menu costing, recipe cards implementation, and wage control.

This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring drug and alcohol testing and a fitness assessment. As an equal opportunity employer, Dexterra Group is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
