Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at 13573516 Canada Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance.
- Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
- Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network efficiency.
- Network Setup: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
- Server Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise 1 to 2 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Certified Network Associate: Possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, demonstrating expertise in network administration and security.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical Demands: Spend most of the workday sitting, with occasional standing and walking.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Possess accurate and efficient interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Eligibility to Work: Be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Relocation: Be willing to relocate for this position, if required.
- Remote Work: Possess the necessary equipment for remote work, including internet and a home office.
- Education: Have completed the highest level of study required for the position.
- Experience: Possess 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in network administration.
- Education: Have a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
- Language: Be fluent in English.
