Key Responsibilities
  • Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Hardware and Software Evaluation and Installation

Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.

Problem-Solving and Support

Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.

Network Administration and Control

Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network security and integrity.

Network Setup and Configuration

Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.

Web Development and Maintenance

Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure a secure and user-friendly online experience.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

Will train, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work language of English and a work schedule of 32 to 44 hours per week.
