Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team at Flowserve. This challenging role will involve working on a diverse range of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and other high-energy machinery. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Inspect and repair rotating equipment, including pumps and compressors.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Work safely and efficiently, utilizing Stop Work Authority when necessary.
  • Follow pre-job briefs and checklists to ensure accurate assembly and disassembly.
  • Operate a variety of power and hand tools.
  • Conduct low-pressure air tests and high-pressure hydrostatic tests.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Work efficiently within fixed time windows.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Utilize cranes, lifting devices, and forklifts.

Requirements



  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of general mechanical experience
  • Able to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, assembly checklists, and other written work instructions
  • Accurately set up and read precision measuring instruments
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
