Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our Woodbridge location for Saturday shifts. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient care.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform diagnostic imaging X-rays as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and safety
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure risks
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
