Supply Chain Management Faculty Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Economist to join our faculty as a Lecturer in Supply Chain Optimization at MacEwan University. As part of our Department of Decision Sciences, you will play a key role in enhancing our undergraduate teaching and research focus in supply chain management.

The Department of Decision Sciences is an interdisciplinary team focused on quantitative research methods, supply chain management, operations research, economics, and more. You will be part of this vibrant community, contributing to the development of high-impact research and excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Teaching Responsibilities

  • You will teach our existing courses in supply chain management, including business logistics management, supply chain resource planning, principles of quality management, procurement and supply management, and supply chain risk management.
  • You will also help develop additional courses in this area, aligning your primary research interests with supply chain management or a closely related field.

Research Expectations

You are expected to demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and conducting high-impact research. Your research can focus on supply chain optimization, management, or related fields.

Additional Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to building industry relations, promoting the student co-op program within Alberta and beyond.
  • You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier, statement of research interests, and a sample of your research work.

Compensation Package

Our compensation package includes an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits plan and opportunities for professional growth and development.
