Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our staff, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, customer feedback, and other key metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Transportation/Travel: Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
