About the Role

Merkle | Cardinal Path is seeking a Senior Consultant, Analytics Implementations to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for implementing web analytics solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business goals and develop tracking/tagging strategies to measure success
  • Consult with clients and their agencies on web analytics platform selection, implementation, and remediation
  • Install, configure, and debug web analytics services such as Google Analytics and Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Lead a team in site tag implementation, custom rules development, and data layer element use for analysis through best-in-class Tag Management Solution platforms
  • Develop implementation documentation for client developers detailing page code requirements and data layer details
  • Provide quality assurance oversight on tracking implementations
  • Offer best practices consulting services to clients on web analytics platform strategy and technical needs
  • Partner with multiple teams within clients' organizations and outside the company to ensure best practices in metrics are exposed to client management and core website decision makers
  • Conduct platform training and knowledge sharing in web analytics for clients and project teams
  • Deploy and test analytics tools in mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, especially using the Firebase SDK
  • Work in development environments for building iOS or Android apps, including XCode and Android Studio
  • Work with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java programming languages in the context of mobile applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification or Adobe Certified Expert: Implementation
  • Minimum 4 years of experience implementing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with web development
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and web protocols
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with at least one Tag Management Solution such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium iQ
  • Comfortable presenting findings and providing training on analytics tool usage
  • Experience with tag auditing tools such as Fiddler, Charles, DataTrue, and WASP

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
