About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Advisor to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our internal processes and customer experience. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for facilitating a smooth and quick homebuying experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer deal flow, prioritizing files in progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Act as a liaison between underwriters, lenders, and clients to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop strategies for increasing conversion rates and building efficient processes to maximize volume.
  • Work directly with clients to build rapport and determine the right mortgage product for their needs, utilizing professional discretion.
  • Ensure all required documentation is procured and reviewed prior to underwriter submission.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage advisory or a related field.
  • Mortgage agent/broker licensing is highly desirable.
  • Past experience managing a large portfolio of clients.
  • A customer-centric mindset to help shape the borrower's homebuying experience.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and rethink existing processes.
