Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol assigned areas to maintain a visible presence and deter potential security threats.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide support as required.
- Produce reports on security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) and a valid driver's license.
- Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate and a Security Guard License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting.
